Terms And Conditions

All Products made by Rachel’s Bake Box are subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By ordering from Rachel’s Bake Box you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

INGREDIENTS

Our cakes are made in an environment where nuts, egg, milk, gluten and other allergens are present. All cakes, fillings and icings may contain, or come into contact with, soy, wheat, dairy, nuts or other allergens. We cannot guarantee that any cake is entirely free of allergens.

It is the responsibility of the Customer to inform their guests of all allergy information and accordingly the Supplier will not be held liable for any allergic reaction resulting from consumption of the cake.

Cakes may include elements that are NOT edible such as; cake toppers, artificial flowers/plants, small toys, dowels, polystyrene balls, balloons, fresh flowers, dried flowers and printed names/ages/images. It is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure all non edible decorative items are removed before cutting and serving.

ORDERS

Any Products ordered from a picture or photo of a product produced by any other cake maker, can only be reproduced by us as our interpretation of that product and will not be an exact reproduction of the product in the picture or photo.

DEPOSITS

We require a £10 non-refundable deposit to confirm an order. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before the collection date, at which point all changes must be confirmed. Orders placed less than 2 weeks in advance of the collection date must be paid in full. Failure to complete payment may result in your cake order being cancelled. Deposits are non-refundable.

PRICE QUOTATIONS

All price quotations, written or verbal, are valid for 30 days from the date of quotation.

CANCELLATIONS AND ALTERATIONS

If you have any queries or need to make any changes to an order please contact us immediately. We will assess your request for an alteration and let you know its effect on the price and any agreed timetable. Accepting any alterations is at the discretion of the Seller. Alterations requested less than 2 weeks before completion may be subject to a surcharge. We cannot refund any of the cost of any cake orders cancelled with less than 7 days notice. Orders paid in full and cancelled with more than 7 days notice will receive a refund of the balance paid less the deposit and any costs of supplies already purchased.

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your order for any reason, then we will give you as much notice as possible, and discuss the matter with you and try to agree a suitable alternative. If you are not willing to accept our suggested alternative, then we will refund the full price to you.

POSTPONEMENT

If, for any reason the order is required to be postponed, please contact me immediately. The new date proposed will be subject to availability.

COLLECTION

It is the responsibility of the Customer to check the product before leaving the premises. Once the item has left the premises, the Customer is responsible to ensure that products gets to its destination safely and is stored as per our instructions to achieve best results for taste and quality.

DELIVERY

We may offer delivery for certain destinations. Delivery is charged at our discretion

Delivery will be carried out in a safe and appropriate manner. Once delivered to the customer and change of hands has been completed with the product in appropriate condition, it is then up to the customer to store and care for the cake as per our instructions. If anything is to happen to the cake after this exchange, we are not liable for any damages.

A delivery date and time will be agreed by both parties, and if the customer is not at location at this time and date, and we are not able to contact the customer, the product will be transported back with our premises and it will be the customer’s responsibility to collect the product.

PUBLICATION

We reserve the right to use any image of a Product made by us for publication at a later date.
